Resin Bangle and Ring Workshop
Workshops are held at my Underwood studio in Brisbane
This is a 3 hour course and it covers all aspects of how to work with a quick curing resin:
- safety and preparation tips
- an explanation of the different types of resins
- pouring methods
- a range of colouring techniques; and
- finishing techniques.
In the workshop you will be working with Krafty Lady silicone bangle and ring moulds. You will pour two bangles, a ring and several smaller pieces using a variety of regular Krafty Lady art moulds. These can later be turned into coordinating jewellery. You will have sufficient time to complete the first bangle in class so that you can wear it home. The second bangle and ring can be finished later at home if not completed in the workshop.
You will leave the workshop with all the pieces you cast in class. If you select Option 2 (please see below) you will also take home the class kit and comprehensive class notes which will be an invaluable tool to refresh your memory about the finer points of casting with quick curing resin. You'll have sufficient materials left to cast several more bangles at home.
Classes are restricted in size so you receive individual instruction and you will leave the workshop confident that you can continue casting at home.

Option 1- $150
3 hour workshop - class materials and tuition only. You'll take home all the items that you make.
This is a fun option for anyone just wanting to have a go and learn what working with resin is all about.
Option 2 - $240
3 hour workshop including kit valued at approximately $120 which is yours to keep so you can keep casting at home.
This is a great option for anyone wanting to make gifts for their family and friends.
Kit includes everything you need to continue making your own bangles at home including a quality silicone bangle mould, resin, pigments and resin dye.
The kit includes all materials required for casting your own bangles:
- 475g resin
- Silicone bangle mould of your choice (and it's yours to keep!)
- 1 x opaque pigment to tint the resin
- 1 x transparent resin dye
- all safety equipment
- mixing cups and stirrers
- wet/dry sanding paper
- comprehensive class notes
The class kit is yours to keep and includes sufficient resin to cast several more bangles.
Option 3 - $150
Gift Certificate for a 3 hour workshop.
Give the gift of a great experience: ideal for the person who likes to be hands on or who has everything. The gift certificate can be used to purchase an Option 1 workshop or can be upgraded to Option 2 for an additional fee at a later date if the recipient wishes
